AMBASSADORS

AMBASSADORS

WHO IS KARI?

Hi, I'm Kari, I'm a former couch potato weighing over 100kg. At the age of 42, I saw the closed doors of the ambulance with me lying there fighting to live with a heart attack. While doctors hooked me up to life support, I begged to see my 2-year-old son again, and I made a promise to myself to completely change my life if given another chance.

Fast forward to now I was lucky enough to survive and as I ran over 100 ironmans to inspire others in hopes of saving them from a similar ambulance ride. I believe it's never too late to make a change in your life but it's always too early to give up. I hope I can also help you reach your optimal health and fitness

WHO IS JONAS?

I am an ambitious cyclist who, in a late-start venture around the age of 44, decided to try to find out how good I could be at cycling. Now 12 years later I'm about to turn 56 and happily still haven't gotten the answer yet? I have continued to develop continuously over the years and have cycled 12,000 miles in the last 10 years and as recently as October 1st this year I broke an ultra world record in solo cycling when I cycled 10 miles solo on the road in a time of 2.10 with an average speed of 46 km/h. A speed I had never reached before on such a long distance, so it was really a fantastic experience to be able to succeed so well. I not only broke the world record in my own age group 50 but also by close to 2 minutes all over including all ages. Last year I broke 3 more world records then on an outdoor track when Volvo lent me their nice test track in Hällered outside Borås. I then broke the records for 100 km, 100 miles and 200 km. In addition, I recently came 4th in the toughest competition imaginable at the Masters WC in Trento in the tempo race over 20 km (a bit short for my taste), but great fun to be so close to the top. This year I also won the cross-country SM in my age group in Uppsala after coming back from a fall halfway through, so this year has really been extremely successful from a cycling point of view. Apart from the obvious that you have to manage training, diet, nutrition and lifestyle well to succeed in reaching the top, I believe a lot in the power of thought. I see myself in development and I think I can get better despite an age that already many years ago experts would have judged as "too old". It seems to work! I become what I think and I seriously believe we can change our biochemistry partially even with mental settings It will be exciting next year hag I don't think my limit has been reached yet for how good / fast I can be. JONAS BOHR

In addition to cycling, I am an entrepreneur in the financial industry and also have a company in sports nutrition / dietary supplements Cellexir https://cellexir.se/ where we are now making a very large investment in the American market so it is really busy to redo days and nights I lives at beautiful Edsviken Sollentuna north of Stockholm with a wonderful family wife for 25 years and 3 daughters of which 2 still live at home.

I came into contact with the LASSO socks through a youth acquaintance from Västervik, Göran Bergsten, who has the agency in Sweden. He asked if I wanted to try some pairs with compression and support in the cycling. I said yes and tried it on and in my world a pair of socks was a pair of socks and nothing I made any special note about but oh how nice they are to both cycle in and wear everyday. I am completely sold on the quality and feel and I can promise that now I don't think that a pair of socks is just a pair of socks anymore. They are exceptionally nice and use them almost constantly.
