LASSO
The founder's name is Partha and he started LASSO after he broke his ankle playing basketball.
It was during intensive rehabilitation and physical therapy that the idea emerged to design products that both help the body move better but also look good. Products that improve your health should be easy to understand, easy to use and visually elegant.
The goal of our socks is to give you more confidence and security with every step, because more confidence means you can do more things, challenge yourself, break new boundaries and experience true freedom through movement.
That's what LASSO is all about.
SPOILED
The big idea started in 2006 when our founder, Kim Overton was going out for a run and faced a problem known to runners, where to put the keys.
She tried on her bra top but it wasn't comfortable. Frustrated but motivated, Kim bought the materials for the first prototype and began creating an answer that would solve the problem.
Before long, Kim had assembled the first belt and quickly knew she was on to something. A few months later, she chose the name SPIBELT, small personal item, then filed the first patent and the SPIBELT brand was officially launched at the Austin Marathon in February 2007.
SPIBELT's products are available in over a thousand stores throughout the United States and in over 40 countries. Despite SPIBELT's international success, the headquarters remain in Austin Texas, where they are still made by hand.
BODY GLIDE
BODYGLIDE was born under the California sun in 1996. Since our inception, BODYGLIDE has gained a loyal following of athletes to keep skin protected and performance assured.
It soon became clear that the first BODYGLIDE product was not just for a select few, it was for everyone who wants to be active. From surfing to the simple act of playing with our kids, BODYGLIDE helps and inspires us to be active, walk around the block, hike a trail, climb a hill, swim in an ocean, bike miles. Free from chafing and friction to be the active person we want to be.

BIOBIO
Through our collaboration with Best Parner Group / Airbag shoes in Elche / Alicante Spain, we can produce a very competitive BIO sandal with high quality.
The factory is one of the largest producers in Europe and has a volume of over 2 million pairs of sandals per year with customers such as Scholl and Zara.
Today we produce for the Stadium group with their brand Race Marine and also for outlets under the Spanish brand Bio Bio. Another customer we help is the Orthopedic stores Foten, who make their own brand with us.

LOCK LACES
LOCK LACES started in 1997, when Eric Jackson a track and field athlete became frustrated with his shoelaces coming loose during competitions and decided to come up with a solution. Eric went home after a practice and created the first pair of LOCK LACES from two laces and a lace lock.
When his friends asked him to manufacture for them, he realized that his solution had potential.
The following year, Eric applied for and received a patent, set up shop and began selling LOCK LACES. In the beginning, he ran his company, Street Smart LLC, from his mother's basement in Baltimore. In 2011 Eric partnered with Frank Sutton and Positive Distribution LLC and together grew LOCK LACE into an international brand.
As word spread about the simple elastic lacing technique, we quickly realized that our product could help people in more ways than we could ever imagine.
Therefore, we have made it our mission to continue to improve the quality of life for our customers by offering the highest quality lacing solution on the market.

The couple, Bert and Tanya Pictor, decided to not only create the world's best performance/running sock, but also give back to the community with every pair sold. Their history, as rich and vibrant as the country where the pair and the socks were born and made, is built on the idea of giving back.

How can a small hole cost so much?
In January 2020, I finally decided that enough was enough and that I wouldn't continue buying new running shoes every time the big toe made an unwanted hole in the toe area - it was time to fight back.
After mourning the loss of my then-favorite pair of running shoes, I decided that there must be something available to prevent this from happening. After much consideration, I concluded that wearing steel-toe boots everywhere was not a feasible solution, so I started looking for an alternative. I also sought answers in the most logical place - I asked Google. It felt reassuring to know that I wasn't alone in my struggle against big toe holes. "Why do I get holes in the toe of my workout shoes" seemed to be a regularly asked question.
Unfortunately, after much searching for a standard solution, I had resigned to the fact that there simply was nothing available. That's when, in true inventor style, I decided to create my own solution, and the rest is history, as they say.
